D A Y 1 : A R R I V E K A K A D U, M A G U K , Y E L L O W W A T E R S C R U I S E
Depart Darwin and head to the world renowned Kakadu National Park. Taking the Old Jim Jim road for some 4WD action, we’ll stop at a Barramundi Creek for morning tea before arriving at Maguk. Spend your time swimming and enjoying the spectacular scenery that Maguk is famous for. After lunch, we’ll head to Warradjan Cultural Centre before enjoying the sunset Yellow Waters Cruise. Finish the day with a hearty dinner around the campfire.

Drive to the North Western section of Kakadu, where the focus of the day will be on the rich cultural history and heritage of the region. Visit two ancient Aboriginal occupation sites at Ubirr and Nourlangie, and see the rock art that has survived for thousands of years. After lunch, head off to one of Australia’s premier eco resorts- Bamurru Plains

At Bamurru Plains there are a number of sensational nature based activities to enjoy. We recommended a morning guided bush walk and spending the heat of the day relaxing around the infinity pool. In mid afternoon head off on a safari drive around the Mary River Floodplain, and be welcomed back at the lodge with drinks and canapes during sunset.

Experience the thrill of an airboat ride across the Mary River Floodplain, and see water buffalo, amazing birdlife and the occasional croc! Check out of Bamurru before boarding your private charter flight and observe the spectacular Top End scenery on a 20 minute journey back to Darwin.
